Defense... Finally!
Wow! All I can say is... wow! The defense I saw last night, in particular on Dustbowl with an uber-awesome team was really and truly awesome!
The teamwork was there and the communication was there. It's amazing when both of those things are being used so frequently what happens isn't it? ![]() We had some great rounds, including holding the last point in Dustbowl for somewhere around 15 minutes. Donagel, Skudly, Spade and Ferris were some TGers to note. Great all around leadership by everyone's part! Defense seems to be the most lacking part of the TF2, often because players are either A.) Too lazy to play good defense, B.) Not skilled enough to play good defense, C.) Too worried about their score so offense is their focus. Last night seemed to be the opposite, probably because of some great TGers on that team to help keep things in check (I'm mostly talking about Spade, not myself). It was truly refreshing to see some great defense being played for a change... it's rare to come by these days, though I hope we can continue at a high level with our defense. Great job guys!

Re: Defense... Finally!
Scud, Chewy, You missed an AWESOME come from behind on the last point WARHAWK victory. We were one moment away from loosing the map and then something clicked. We moved into a more offensive configuration and started a grueling push to the end. SPADE was doing some awesome special ops in the back, Gadget Girl was healing like it was none of her business and with everyones help we pushed to the end.
Is there any way to get the demo of yesterdays WARHAWK and DUSTBOWL. Last edited by ROCKS; 04-05-2008 at 02:39 PM. |

Re: Defense... Finally!
Urge to kill....rising....rising. I DON"T DO SERVICE PLUMBING!!! I DO NEW CONSTRUCTION!!!
Last night we did have an awesome bunch of games. Everyone worked as a team and we we're able to set up a near impenetrable defence and produce a near unstoppable offence. Examples like last night are why I feel that Team TG will be a serious force when the the BFCL comes around. The warpath game was probably the best game match of the night. It was back and forth and seemed like it was anyone's game. I give props to Gadget Girl because she seemed to magically appear whenever I seemed to be done for.

To be honest, if you lived closer, I would hire you for all my plumbing work when I start my home-flipping business! Are we even sure that GG is a girl... it sounds like a boy going through puberty OR a younger girl... I'm still not sure what we're dealing with here...
