Fun games tonight on 2fort
Just wanted to give a thanks for all the guys that worked with those coordinated rushes on 2fort tonight. We had a heavy leading the way with a medic, along with soldiers hitting the sentries in front of us, and demomen covering our backs. I was pretty amazed we were able to take out around 4 full upgraded turrets outside their intel room and still manage to get in there, take it, and make it back to base multiple times with cover.
Hopefully we can get some more games going like that.

I wish I didn't have to miss it but I was busy (though on the computer) with other stuff and I need sleep bad... hopefully I can be in on some of those soon!

I'm Glad to hear that the reports of the death of teamwork on our servers were premature.
Just wish I could have played tonight....I'm going through TF2 withdrawl!!!!!It's all in the Reflexes.

had a great time last night! the siege of 2fort was excellent along with the briefcase cap in sudden death to finish one of the rounds.
the huge slugfest on well was tough. it was funny letting them cap the point, then taking it back so we could keep playing. the round time limits have been getting frustrating.
dusbowl earlier in the evening was also a blast. we were pushed all the way back to the last CP and ended up holding it for 15 minutes for the win. my way off to the side on the ledge was really tough to crack. its a great spot that covers the bridge, tunnel entrance, and CP and far enough away form any ubered heavies that its easy to repair. i need to take some placement screenshots for that spot.

Yes it was, and I think its what won you guys the round. We cleared out that room several times, but that one turret always seemed to get us.

The biggest weakness of that sentry spot is that it is out of range of anyone coming through the door on the other side of the room (right side if you're attacking.) A couple of soldiers throwing rockets from there will have it down in no time; so the rest of the team really has to be on the ball and keep that door covered.

That was a really good push. I think Kor was the demo, and he kept laying stickies to cover our 6 are we went down the tunnels. The heavy cleared the squishies, the soldiers took out the turrets, and I managed to keep people up. Everything kinda just gelled at the right moment, and everyone did their jobs. It was a fun little run.

That's okay, last night we got them back for you Sirus. Ended up with aero and a few guys against me and a few pub players on Well. Let's just say we gave them a run for their money. It's nice having some pubbies come on that know how to listen to a plan and go where they are needed.
