Server Lag Issue

In case you haven't noticed, the server has been lagging pretty bad today. I've been testing it on and off for most the day. I don't recall any Steam updates, so I'm assuming it's an issue with our server host. I have a PM into Apophis right now and am waiting to hear back from him.

After extensive testing (Thanks Ednos), I've determined that the issue is in fact BAT. As such, I've pulled it while we figure out what it's doing. Reserved slots are down on account of this so the manual reserved slot system is in effect for now.

Both servers are up while we further test the lag issue fix. Feel free to join on either server to help test. I'm fairly positive the issue has finally been resolved, but I'd like a day or two of testing before I call it "done." Thank you.

So, after two days of testing, I'm fairly positive the issue has been resolved. There has been no major latency issues and Reserved Slots are functioning effectively. If you've noticed any issues, please PM me.

And for those interested, the solution to this whole ordeal? Run SRCDS (the dedicated server console for Source Games) Minimized. Don't ask me why that works. I only know that it does.

If the changes were made today then disregard this comment:

Last night at the end/beginning of some rounds we would have a 10 second or so lag randomly just fyi.

Thanks. I'll look into it. Valve still seems to have a few issues with the dedicated server, so hopefully it gets worked out.
