Edit Steam ID (aka name in-game)
To change your Steam ID to your regular TG Tags:
Launch Steam
Click Community Tab
Click Edit SteamID
The reason I'm starting this thread is because it would be nice to be able to spot a fellow TG'er right off the bat rather than have to consult a list.
That being said, could someone more knowledgeable chime in and let me know what this change does? IE - does it change your Steam login info? I'm guessing it resets your stats?
I'm totally new to steam coming from 2142.
BTW- This game is a kick in the a$$. Nice diversion from the 'seriousness' of 2142 and other games.
Irregular and proud of it.

It only changes your in-game name, that is it.
Also in-game you can press shift+tab to bring up the steam community overlay, click the setting button on the bottom to change your name faster at anytime.
