BTW: To anyone who recorded a demo: PM me and I'll try and get them converted when I have time.

Hey, great scrim, everyone. I got disconnected a while into Hydro and was never able to reconnect again (or even find the TFR server in the browser); I'm not sure if this was just a problem on my end or if everyone experienced it. In any case, 2Fort was a blast, as well as the portion of Hydro I was able to play. Thanks to those who organized this scrim -- I look forward to having another one!

Here's my captured demo. Sorry I only really got the last map and didn't catch all of it. Anyways here's the demo, just pop into your teamfortress2/tf folder. Launch TF2 and in console type 'demoui' load and enjoy

If anyone else is willing to convert them be my guest. It's quite long...

Yeah, we did have some technical difficulties...that's what happens when you build your match configs about 2 hours before the match and dont test them. We'll make sure everything is ironed out before we host the next one.
If it isn't PCS, whats the point?

Aggressive Defense (an oxymoron): A naturally occurring situational event where a defender is caught in a role reversal anomaly. Usually associated with lack of practice, discipline or map awareness in a team based conflict.

So when do you guys fancy a rematch? We're hoping to schedule a PCS match too, but I'm sure we can fit more TF2 carnage in.

Saturday seemed to work out well; 26th or 2nd perhaps?

Neither works for me as there are other Scrim's planned for those days. But if it is on any other day i would be up for it, unless the Patriots are on.

The 3rd is spoken for as it is Superbowl Sunday!

That's where you Americans wear more armour than an M1A2 in order to play rugby, isn't it? :P

We've got an internal match on the 30th so could we go for a couple of weeks after that?

Did I ever mention I hate turn-based "strategy" games? I swear, time machine, prevent football, world fixed.

Eh, I don't have beef with football, but baseball? Common, who the hell made that "the american pastime"?!

Victorian-era denizens made it the national pass-time because there wasn't much else to do in 1890. Unless you were Irish in which case you weren't supposed to be out of your coal mine.

What's a Superbowl? Is it like a really big version of of cp_dustbowl?

You're right, baseball is lame. Both of Canada's national sports involve beating the crap out of people with sticks. Baseball would be much more entertaining if they'd let them use the bat for that.
