Call to Arms and Legs....
So I received this PM today about us joining the BFCL league. It seems as if the league is having some troubles and we were asked to help out. A good friend of ours has taken over as the "responsible party" of the league and has extended an invite to us. So what does this actually mean...??
1. We need to field a team of eight..yes eight..with some reserves in case we have an occasional hiccup. I would like to have at least 12 on the roster.
2. We need to have a team Captain, a Master of Disaster, a Top Chump, a Big Dog, a head cheese, a numero uno ..... you get it.
3. This is serious and we will need to be prepared and field a competitive team. TG has a reputation for doing well in these types of contests and if interested we wil have some big shoes to fill.
4. There will be practices and TeamSpeak meetings and so forth.
If you are up to the challenge and are looking to take your TF2 experience further, then sign up in the following format.
1. Steam Name
2. In game Name
3. Kit Specialties
4. Do you want to captain?
5. Full time player or reserve.
This needs to happen fairly quickly. It will be a good opportunity to showcase our playstyle and to show everyone that we can play tourny style. I think we can have fun and take our game to the next level.

do you have a schedule as to when the practices/meetings/matches will be? i am going out of town (with laptop, might be able to run tf2, not sure.. will have internet tho (dsl at some times, satellite at other times) for the next but if its after that i would be game

Well, you could put a setinfo name ... in your autoexec or class configs so your name would be set to something you want whenever you enter a game.

Its great to see how quickly you guys have mobilised on this. We've got definite interest from 2 other clans / groups with feelers out to some others. In addition we'll be entering 2 teams from TFR. At the moment we're looking at 6 teams in total but there's room for more if you can field a second team. How many maps will we be playing? I nominate dustbowl and gravel pit out of the stock maps and Mach4 for custom. If this was like a 18v18, ctf_scorpion_v3 FTW!

We need more people to sign up if we are going to do this. Having nine players going into a serious competition will not work. So unless we can get some more people to sign up, I am afraid this will not go off.
