Keep in mind that Magna likes to disguise as medic anyways. Some say speedbump, I say ROLE MODEL.

Next week. Lord Robin of Walker admitted they're still running final tests.

When did he say next week? As far as I'm concerned, he said the week of the 20th. That means from the 20th-26th is the open window. It's the 25th.

Re: Big Update Coming From Valve

He said it last week. I'm just too stupid to check dates on the information I find and didn't even notice that the medic pack was released a few days ago. Me so dumb.

As ƒar as you are concerned, if you don't have ƒaith in the veracity of my inƒormation, ƒeel ƒree to simply ignore it. I'd surely like to see it released within the previously-stated period, but unless someone decided to generate drama with a hoax, the odds are probably 4-to-1 against seeing it within the next 36 hours. (I base that on Robin's word going from "very soon now" to "early next week" with 29 minutes between the messages.)

I think you forget that I'm in high school. The name of the game there is "If you can't back up what you say, you're full of crap". Which is why I don't really have any reason to believe that unless I see an article.

Re: Big Update Coming From Valve

I think you forget that I'm not your sibling, that I defeated high school long ago, and that I am wholly unconcerned by the behaviors you employ to exist within the anti-culture that manifests within your local peer groups.

We've discussed this before; just because you need to behave like a caffine-addled marmoset at daycare doesn't mean you should bring that attitude into these forums or the server. Yes, nearly everyone here screws around from time to time and gets their turn to be the butt of the hour's jokes, but you have yet to learn when the joke is over, when to back off, and when to accept a slap on the wrist...

The facts are clear; that you want to be here, and that we want you to be here, too. If we didn't, you would've had the door slammed on your tail-fin a long time ago. You are at a special point in time and place where you can grow up.

1) You aren't in the lunchroom when you are here. You are amongst mature, adult gamers aged from teens to fifties.
2) If you want to tease someone, play it like Spy. Just because you can take a shot doesn't mean you should; and you're better off waiting for the right moment to strike.
3) Learn how jokes live and die. Knowing when something goes from funny to not-funny is important.
4) Take your lumps and learn from them. Everyone screws up and makes asses of themselves. Everyone is forgiven when they own up, apologise if applicable, and learn to avoid the mistake in the future. But when someone is called on a mistake and immediately tries to slough the blame and make an excuse, their faux-pas will never be forgotten.

Meanwhile, on-topic, I'm hoping they release it 11th hour but still on-time. If something small is broken we all know they can fix it since the whole point of Steam is automatic updates in real-time. However, Robin said they were "a couple days behind," which sounds less like testing to be sure it works and more like one of those comedy movies where guests arrive early and a foil is sent to distract and occupy them while the protagonist is rushing to complete preparations for the party.

Assume the party escort submission position or you will miss your party.
Meanwhile, I am going to cherish my extra couple days where people play classes other than Medic.

It said "Next Week" in the Update news when you load up steam.

This was definitely "ftw" Magna, but there are PMs for this material.

This was hilarious, but probably not for the reason intended.

Re: Big Update Coming From Valve

Latest word from Lord Robin is they're hoping to release today, but they're still working on a problem. Which is apparently a show-stopper. >_> Keep your bonesaws crossed.
