I expect programmers to develop netcode that doesn't run like it was made in 1998, so sue me. CoD4 has this same issue.

Yeah, the hitboxes do remind me of NS back in the 3.0 beta days. Fades killing you from miles away, skulks getting shot after leaving the room 10 seconds earlier, invinicible onos because the hitbox was no bigger than a skulk. Oh wait, most of you never played NS.

Of course I've played NS. The hitboxes in aNimal croSsing are totally lame.

I started playing that a little with TG and quickly got away from it... probably due to the awful graphics. I probably should stop being a lam0rZ nooB and check it out again, no?

I actually thought the graphics for NS were spectacular considering it was all done in the HL1 engine. They're currently working on a source version, but it could be a long way off.
