Actually I'm pretty sure that only counts if you're counter-ubering an enemy. I might be wrong though. In any case anyone who already played medic in the past already has that one/will get in w/ normal game play.

By the way. Did anyone notice that the wepons now all have "level 1" next to them. This obviously begs the question "what do I have to do to get level 2?" A second sweep of upgrades after all classes have their stuff maybe?

Well I just finished playing on the TG server. I was dismayed to see all my proud Medic heritage go to waste when I ended the day with 3 achievements, mostly from not playing medic because I wanted to win. I still didn't win.
This may sound like I'm just whining, but I swear I'm not. The new map was great. Also, I look forward to making my way into the club, that group of elite everybody with the new syringe gun. (Magna's was lvl 5, I have no idea why, but I died many many times from it.)
All in all, my favorite part of the update is GoldRush, which I don't fancy being Red on.

I guess the reason I'm posting in this forum is to try to see if anyone who wasn't nececarily in on today's action would take me along for Act II.

The "level" is just window-dressing because Gabe Newell has been playing way too much World of Warcraft at Valve HQ. The new needlegun is marked as 5, the new medgun as 8, and saw as 10. I think it's supposed to represent the Medic's level to carry the weapon, not the item's.

By the way, the Combat medic is back. That life sucking needle gun dropped me as heavy pretty fast. Then, they sit on the outskirts of the action raining needles on everyone. Some guys didnt even want to heal anymore cause they where busy bringing on the frag fest. I wont say its overpowered but it definitely gives the medic a weopon with which to cause more damage faster without relying the probability of crits.

Perhaps I am the odd ball, but am I the only one who has NEVER tried to get an acheivement? I mean, I occationally get them, but since i have never looked to see what they are, or their pre-requisites, its more of dumb luck. They don't do anything, right?

Don I used to be like that..but I decided for TF2 I wanted to be..well on top of my game..

so I am more into completing everything.
