Pain in the ass

Ok, i keep getting this Steam Certificate length error whenever i try to join more than one server on TF2. I know that logging out fixes it but is there a permanent solution.

Re: Pain in the ass

Highly unlikely. Its function is to keep a log of everything you do. Deleting it will make Steam re-check every update and take a while to start up the next time you load it, but that's about it. When something gets wrong in the blob, which happens inevitably, your Steam installation gets mixed up and throws inappropriate errors.
