For one minute, stabs registered.

On YouTube only as a favor to Yoshi. So, the video quality is on-par with a toddler drawing in his own fecal matter. But you can kinda guess what is going on.
I just noticed that Dude spent the whole clip whining because he had to play for a moment without infinite health as his medic healed the guy earning almost 20 frags per minute peak.

Re: For one minute, stabs registered.
Heavies are supposed to be damage sponges though. Taking away a Heavy's medic is like taking away a spies backstab or a snipers headshot. The class was designed around it.

"Taking away a Heavy's medic is like taking away a spies backstab"
That happened a few months ago.

Valve did that to balance facestabs.

Re: For one minute, stabs registered.
As Dude's MoC (unless he just says that to all the pretty girls), I can safely say that he gets a bit obsessive on needing a medic at all times. I can tell when he needs it, but a lot of the time my duty should be healing the demomen and soldiers at 4 health.

Prehaps. Luckily it still doesn't save him from a fully charged headshot

And I swear, every single time I tell him, "Dude, watch your head!" right before he gets shot.

Re: For one minute, stabs registered.
Yeah, Captn is a little obsesive about that. (rightfully so) Sometimes Im left without a medi as a result of it but I just get my but out there and try and take down as many people as possible. You have to be way more conservative without a Medi as a heavy but you can still be an effective part of the team. To his defense hes usually trying to get other heavies paired up with medics as well.
Knowing your movement patterns is KEY. These should cross health packs that you know will be there for you when the medic is not. This is an Unreal Tournament tactic. Know the map and know where your next move will be to in order to keep health stocked.
Ive found that two good heavy medics steam rolling off the the gate one from the left and the other from the right is a tough match to counter. First thing I do when shooting out the gate is turn back to take down magna and spade who are ALWAYS going to try and get that first lick on my medics back. Once im deep enough into the enemy teritory its usually uber time. The deeper you get before firing the uber, the deeper your impact will be and the more space you open for your team behind.

Re: For one minute, stabs registered.
Heh, For me, medics are a distraction. I have to spend far too much time stopping to defend my medic that could be better spent randomly firing crit rocks right at Magna when he's cloaked.

TBH though I'd much rather the medics were on the heavy. I appreciate the random bits of healing when I need it, but even Kritzkreigs are wasted on me (as I tend to crit far too often as it is anyway) Because I have this tendency to play far more aggressively than most, and certainly far more aggressively than is conducive to a medic's well-being.

Is that...the fabled...NINJAPIRATEASSASSIN?! Dude I haven't seen you on for a while! Don't worry though, I actually defend my guy as much as they defend me. I'm like the ultimate spy-dar/killer.
