So you don't have to switch to the flamethrower, then axetinguisher. The idea is to get to them when they're lit, then kill. There's reason to shotgun them. They'll either get insta-gibbed by the axetinguisher, you'll both retreat, you end up flaming them to death, or you die. No need for shotty'ing.

Yeah, unless you're fighting other Pyros, in which case your plan is boned. Seeing as thats what 90% of the players are atm, I think i'll stick with the backburner/shotgun/axe

The axigisher works on other pyros, however another pyro on your team has to be flaming him at the same time they you're chopping him. You can't flame and then switch to axe for instagib.

where can i find out how to get these updates ?i have seen pyros new flare gun but thats it ! how do i get it ? and what servers play with updates ?

All servers play with updates (unless they have some sort of addon that switches them off). To get the new weapons, you have to get 10, 15, and 20 achievements from that pack.
