Re: Is anyone actually playing anymore?
If you mean my automatic tag changer, that's a simple script.
The issue is the Higher Ups have only allowed (afaik) one group to have a TG-foo tag that didn't have SMness as a requisite. (the Irregulars)
I'd much rather the Higher Ups pay attention to TF2 in the sense of advertising it and popularising it, rather than spanking the G.O. (o wait there is no GO lol) for letting the non-$M pubbers play with unofficial tags.

Re: Is anyone actually playing anymore?
Which Tags are you referring to? Anyone can throw on the tags if they have read the primer and understand the rule set at TG. It literally take 5 minutes to read the primer and understand what TG is and what it stands for.
Tags mean nothing and are used just to identify one as a member of the community. You can have a whole bunch of non-tagged players that are outstanding. I am confused as to what tags have to do with the original topic....."Don't tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results." Gen. George Patton

Re: Is anyone actually playing anymore?
I meant the ~7 hours on the TG server you used the [TGFC] tag.

Isn't that basically just wearing two tags at once? Why not allow that?

Re: Is anyone actually playing anymore?
1) I don't do -=lolaintthisfancycrap=- braces.
2) It looked better than [TG][FC]
3) It's funny. Laugh.
4) [TGFC] stands for Towering Giants Fight Constantly. Or anything else I might've made up while I key that sentence.
5) FC is not and never was part of TG. If four people started wearing [TGFC], then it would've been an issue.

Re: Is anyone actually playing anymore?
See, that's what I don't get: Why it would be an issue. It's just taking taking two tags and wearing both.

Re: Is anyone actually playing anymore?
One person, for a few hours. Then I wrote a name switcher script so I have the appropriate tag for the appropriate server.

I'm not gone. I promise.
-ZephyrYou were once like the newbie who needed a hand from above and TacticalGamer gave you it.
You owe the newbie who comes after you that same outstretched hand from above on your honor as a Tactical Gamer.
Tactics at TG come from trust and friendship, not meticulous detail and rigid discipline.
Everyone should be assumed mature until proven otherwise.

We are not a single game.
We are mature, intelligent, and cooperative individuals.
We are TacticalGamer, a community above and beyond its name.

Re: Is anyone actually playing anymore?
#641 is actually just an integral part of my name. My dad and brother donned it to make it easier to recognize us. |TG-641| is a tag, but I rarely use that one. And Zephyr was on tonight!
