Just a quick question
Hey, I just had a quick question or two about TF2 for the people who play on the TG server. I'm getting it for Christmas, and was wondering: what is this game like? Is it more teamwork based, like Battlefield 2142, or is it a looser sort of teamwork, like COD4? Also, how do the individual classes play their part on the battlefield? I know that then engineer defends hallways with his sentry, but that's about it. Thanks, and see you on the server in a few days ^_^

Re: Just a quick question
As a 2142 player and half TF2 player, we actually don't have a server anymore the community is pretty dead. It is an extremely fast paced game, and I die every other second. I would say it is a loosed based teamwork, where good individuals go extremely far. But there is direct teamwork like the medic.
It is MUCH more class based then 2142. 2142 has generalized classes while TF2 is very specialized. Takes a while to get used to the system and the classes and pick one that you are decent at and enjoy.
Even though we don't have a server, there are plenty of teamworked based servers to play on. Join the TF2 Steam group and follow some people into games. Happy hunting.

Re: Just a quick question
There are not many TF 2 players in TG. Unfortunately, I did not get the game for Christmas and patiently wait until my birthday to get it.
