Don't let Valve fool you, Mech. They are tricky that way. Plus, I don't think they would change the color of a gun, server-side, just to show what has killed the person from something as small as that.

Valve is pretty crafty. They even added sneakpeaks of Pyro update in the Meet the Sniper video.
The gun looks too much like the one spy currently wields for it to be update. You couldn't tell the two apart from far away.

What comes to the watch he is certanly hodling something there. Maybe golden zippo? Something that allows him to cloack longer?

Bah!

I said before sniper update was announced that its either going to be hellish or they will pack it with spy and the game will turn into something that I'll be happy to play another 10hours

Hopefully they give spy and sniper, or find another way to give content (there was some speculation of tiny unlocks to all classes but that would be HUGE add). Seems great with sniper only, but Valve always does better than great

Well played Valve, well played. I love you long time. I think this is the 4th time TF2 has bought itself back.

I was kinda thinking they'd do something like the dead ringer. In TFC instead of cloaking spy could play dead and hide as a corpse. You had to stay still because if you looked around the body in the ground was rotating. There was two ways to play dead, silent and with noise. This is kinda like the with the noise feign death.
When Fortress Forever team was wondering how they are going to do the feign death thing they invented the spy cloak (this was before TF2 was even announced). There was silent spy cloak and noisy spy cloack that also spawned dead spy body. This is exactly like that.
About the spy watch unlock, very useful. You could just wait for your pray standing still and be fully cloaked. Very useful indeed. I love this update already.

Quick, we have under a day or something before they release info about the third unlock of spy or Sniper. What do you think it is?
For the Aussie it must be boomerang - it's so obvious. Jarate was posted on april fools day, it can't be that.
For spy I think it'll be unlock for the revolver. In TFC the spy gun was silenced pistol that fired traqualizer darts that made enemies slower and have bit blurred vision. I think that will be the third unlock because so many people have complaned that spies have to run across the map to backstab character that moves faster than they do or at the same speed and quite frankly I agree. Shooting them and quickly taking advantage of their slow speed and backstab would be perfect. People would learn to turn around when they get shot by it, but then assassin must adapt and survive...

Sniper: I think the Razorback could be a hoax, it's pretty bad in my opinion. He might get the nailgun, from TFC.

Spy: Silenced pistol or possibly a karate chop. Instant kills on side strikes.
