Re: Update released.
Yeah, you can't even craft using the watches and stuff. It sucks.

I 've got 4 tokens so far and a whole bunch of other items that I can't use. Metal is what I need, metal I tell ya!

Re: Update released.
Actually, the spy dispenser glitch was removed in yesterday's patch.
It was possible to build dispensers as a spy (disguised and all) by typing build 0 in console, which would bring up the dispenser placement kit as if you were an engineer (you could only build the dispenser, you couldn't access a menu or place teleporters/sentries). destroy 0 blew up the dispenser, and build 4 gave you back your sapper (as the sapper disappeared when you attempted to build dispensers).
It was useless, but it was fun to go in their base as engy-spy and build a dispenser as they wrote you off as a friendly (though, your dispenser would be your team's colors, carrying the build box and dropping the base of a dispenser was often enough to deter players from realizing you were an enemy spy).

Re: Update released.
Well... Steam has been a real let down this weekend. Just wanted to have another game of TF2 and their servers are down again. It 's been like this since thursday and I 'm quite sick of it.

Re: Update released.
If you're missing items, be sure to contact Steam Support.
I had been missing 3 demo items and my buff banner until I did, and in a day and a half I had them all.

Re: Update released.
Be careful with crafting... I thought only double weapons were available for crafting and ended up losing some of my favourite weapons (my ubersaw... snif
).
Also, I found this page but some of the blueprints don't work for me. I cannot make scrap metal from smelting 3 secondary or 3 melee weapons. Can anyone confirm this?

Re: Update released.
All 3 items must be identical to craft scrap metal from a slot weapon.
For instance, 3 Jarates will work, but 2 Jarates and a Razorback will not.
I'm missing a 3rd of a jarate/razorback (have 2 of each), which are the nearest I am to 3 secondary weapons, and I'd need 2 more equalizers before I could try the melee one.
Also of note is that your items won't be lost if there is no crafting blueprint to go along with the combination of weapons, so fear not; you can try out crafting combos to your hearts desire and not lose weapons if it fails. (The crafting window shows ALL of your items, so don't fumble around with weapons you want to keep!)

Re: Update released.
Nm... just crafted 3 secondary weapons, didn't know I could craft stuff without having the blueprint... stupid
. Apparently the blueprint unlocks when you do it.
Thx for the heads up.
The amount of metal you need to combine for one item is still crazy though.
