    Contribution ideas

    As some of you who read the TF2 blog, the developers are accepting custom content for the game.

    As none of you may know (pun) I have done bit of modeling for the Valve's contribution update. I'm not in the field of making weapons, I'm more focused on misc and head gear items.

    I did two hats for the spy:



    So if you have some great ideas you can share them. Now I do remind you that most of the obvious choices have been made: beret for spy, surgical mask for medic, robin hood hat for sniper, WWI British Helmet for Soldier, officer hat for heavy, etc etc.

    Ideas I'm looking for are silly, but plausible ideas that fit the classes. I'm currently working at Pyro sombrero (tried to make chili hat, but it looked pretty bad).
    And no Lyra, I'm not making the wind direction rooster thing.

    Can you clarify what Misc would be? You don't do weapons, and well...hats, I'm not too interested in that since there's bound to be dozens of them soon enough. What about clothing? Like Blue/Red variations of the Soldier, Demo etc?

    I think Valve was looking for hats only, misc items (that extra slot) might also be something. I like the spy hat but sombrero is mastermindish! How could anyone hate pyro who wears hat like that (yeah actually nvm...)!

    Misc item is something that isn't a hat, but adds something extra to the player model.
    Examples:
    Camera beard and soldier's medal.

    Clothing variations would fall in the category of skins, textures for excising model. Valve isn't interested in re-textures at this point.

    One has been made for heavy. On slightly related note, for sniper there's the William Tell apple hat.
