Same, I'm breathing normally now that I've got the crysis beta client downloading. So hopefully after I'm done playing that, I'll get to play this.

I see I'm not the only one waiting for this to be released.

I've been playing Fortress Forever to get a feel for the TF style of gameplay, since I somehow skipped over TFC back in the day. Guess it got lost in the shuffle of Quake 2 CTF, Action Quake 2 and then Tribes. I was already interested in TF2 after the videos they've released, and after playing FF I've been even more interested in it.

Now, if they'll just release the thing.....

Expect the site and forums to be hammered, its a long waited release and that whole entire Orange Box deal has made a huge success over the month since announced... 9pm EST seems to be release time, thats as of this mornings postings

Seems kind of weak that they list a "MONDAY" release date yet hold it off till late Monday night.

Can't really remember a game that pulled a release like that, beta or otherwise. The date listed almost always means Morning.

But whatever, it's not my bad PR so no worries.

Ya I'm disappointed. It is just a beta, but it's the only reason I pre-ordered :P (at least this early).

You have to take into account time zones. For the west coast to be home from work and school is late night on the east coast. I don't think I've ever seen a demo/beta release before noon eastern. Well maybe 11AM eastern at the earliest.

and this is valve....they almost always release things at 6pm pst....thats just the way it works
