    cp_rats_alpha

I've played two rounds as the blue team so far, and I really enjoyed it. Gravelpit-like capture with four points: the first two are open then you have to take the last two in sequence. A nice feature: at least for the desk cp (couldn't test for the others), you need two players (possibly one scout) to capture.

At first glance, it looks like the red team is handicapped for the first two points then they have the advantage for the last two. It's hard to comment much on the balance as most players didn't know the map that well.

    PROS:
    -Polished look.
    -Lots of passages.
    -Every class is useful.
    -Haven't seen obvious bugs, glitches.

    CONS:
-The cp near the kitchen sink is too far from the red spawn. As the blues all go the same way for the first two capture points, that one's a free point.
    -Still an alpha.

EDIT: About the two players required to capture a point... I just tried it offline and either I was just wrong, which I doubt because I sat on the point for ages, or it's a server variable.

    Can't post URLs yet.

I don't know who the author is, only stumbled upon it on clever dragon custom map server.

There's no www before forums, and you have to include the http : / /

Or simply go to "tf2 DOT cawfee DOT us"

I'll look into getting this map on the server by Monday and setup a test either Monday or Tuesday night. Monday nights are bad for me as I have class that night, but other admins can easily change the map over.

YES! But you need to start a new thread that contains a DL link and other info.

    Better test Stronghold tonight...

The map has been updated to cp_rats_alpha2, but there's at least two game breaking bugs:
-Top two custom capture progress icons don't show properly (black and purple chessboard). This happened to me in CSS with valve's maps, so it could be on my end.
-It's possible to get stuck in the airvent "elevator". First by being stuck going up and down between two exits, second by landing on the bottom... under the air flow.

It's too dark. I like the work it's well polished. It's a rats map so it's more of a funny deathmatch with open spaces than a real battlefield type map in my humble opinion.

I've noticed that you can only take a certain amount of falling damage. Unless it's a endless pit you'll still survive if you started with full health. Doesn't matter if you fall from halt the altitude of the map or the very highest point.
