Pah, it's not that hard to remember two clicks, and if you manage to muck it up and forget all you have to do is switch to a weapon then pull the blueprint back up to start over facing the front. Plus, if you look carefully at the blueprint image itself there is "writing" on it that you can also use to determine the orientation.

That being said, I do agree completely that they should fix the arrow orientation to actually show the facing instead of point up into the air where it does absolutely no good.

I can't believe I've missed that for so long! I always wondered how people got them tucked neatly into corners.

Heh, yeah its not obvious. Right click works on everything you can build, tho it dosn't matter much on dispensers and entrance portals.

Dispenser facing can be useful for people who are not the engineer who placed it to see the charge meter on the dispenser if it's in tight quarters. But, it doesn't impact functionality.

Placement is good no matter what, orientation matters a lot. I know that right clicking turns structures around, but your average pubby doesn't, especially for the exit teleporter.

For any game it's the developer's job to convey the needed information effectively. I haven't even seen a loading screen tip on this. Valve should put this on their list of priorities for their next update.

Good thing I don't play there, that's silly. If no slow classes are around to take it, there's no reason to leave it idle. Which is better? A spy firing bullets on the front line or not having a gun there at all because he's trotting across the back forty?
