    Thanks zoopy!

    Re: Spy question

Had an amazing moment last night with the Spy. We were on offense on Dustbowl, and had been moving along pretty well so had a lot of time when we got to the final set of CP's. Knowing that first one often gets jammed up for awhile, I thought I'd go spy and get behind the enemy right at the start from the right-side tunnel.

So I cloak, go past the initial battle that erupts when the gates go down, pass a few enemies still making their way to the front, and duck down the tunnel that goes underneath. I uncloak down there in disguise, and work my way up to the back CP first - there are usually some teleporters there, and I figured I'd sap them to slow the enemy reinforcements down, then try to sneak up behind the enemy and help take out any SGs and give the team intel.

So I find one teleporter right outside the enemy spawn, sap it, and.....the team has blown through the enemy and capped the first CP already! Nobody is in sight from the other team yet, so I stand on the back CP, shoot off a round from the pistol to remove my disguise - and capped the back flag without ever seeing an enemy near it. I was surprised nobody spawned in during that time.

Everyone was pretty shocked - including myself. Nobody knew I was back there, so the VOIP chatter was fun as I was capping - "Who is back there - how are we capping that one ?" etc. I was amazed they blew through the enemy on that first CP in that short a time to give me such a golden opportunity.

That one is going to be hard to top!

Yes, speed is modified toward the class you mimic, but it's not as fast or as slow, so going Scout is a good idea to make it to the front lines from spawn, but every engineer's going to splash a slow-motion scout in the same room as his builds.
