Canyon

Played it last night on the server.

My only complaint so far.

1.) Respawn areas aren't defined, i.e. I can't change class in respawn without the suicide penalty

Re: Canyon

I'm keeping my eyes open for an updated version of the map. Let me know if you see anything as I really think this map has a good layout and is TG material.

Re: Canyon

It feels like too big of a map (length-wise). Scouts seem like the best choice for the map and you could probably have an uber ready from just walking a heavy to the 4th control point, which makes setting up a sentry semi-worthless. I do feel that besides that the map's layout is fine and keeping a lookout for an updated version is definitely good.

Re: Canyon

Scouts are just barely playable on Grand Canyon after the mid cap. Demo and Heavy are huge, and snipers actually have targets other than other snipers.

The updates suck; the previous version of the map (the one I played and reccommended) had somewhat better pathing. Apparently babies went BAWWWWWWWW and the mapper dumbed it down by removing some access paths. (One or two were added which was good, though.)

Well I know I was getting confused on where I was going and still am a bit. Everything doesn't seem direct at all. I do like the under the bridge part that really adds to the game
