Here is another tactic for using sticky bombs. When defending any small area (CP or choke) you can keep firing your stickies onto the location and have them detonate once you start firing past 8.

Example: Dump stickies onto a single spot on a CP. Then reload back to 8. Now, for every shot you make the first stick in the pile will explode. Every additional shot will explode the next sticky. Doing this with reloading will mean you can pretty much keep firing a exploding nade in that area. This is very useful when you want to keep the enemy away without having to blow up all your stickies at the same time and open up the path.

I haven't seen this mentioned but remember that you can charge up the sticky launcher to fire stickies quite far. You can reach the enemy sniper deck on 2fort from your own sniper deck. I played around killing enemy snipers this way. It was pretty funny but not terrible effective.

I suggest trying this technique against enemy turrets from a safe distance or setting up offensive-style sticky traps.

I knew about the charge up but not on 2Fort reaching the other sniper box, wow...

The problem is that most engineers who know what they're doing place their sentries in places where you dont have miles of plain sight to where they are sitting.
Thus with the stickies having a balistic curve most of the times you will end up shooting stickies to ceilings or walls without getting near the turrets.

Although the stickies are the only possible way to get a SG/Disp/Engi Combo out as a single player.

Ay not if you're Pablo! Or if you're a good enough spy. Seriously now. There's a hidden achievement in TF2, score 6 spy skills in 30 secs and you'll gain 110% achievement percentage, an award, and a Steam rating of simply "11 - Pablo!"
