Some of these maps need dedicated testing in order to work out any issues we may have with them. This is just an FYI.
NOTE: This is not a discussion thread. All discussion about changes to hosted maps and mapcycles should be discussed in the map forum. Thank you.Last edited by TheFeniX; 05-09-2008 at 02:09 PM.

Re: Team Fortress 2 Map Cycle
Just a bit of news, I want to start some testing of new maps. Turbine is fairly fun, but offers nothing very complicated when it comes to teamwork. I'll keep it in the rotation for now.
Also, avantiville is getting an overhaul (or so the author says). I'll try and keep up to date with it because I think the map has serious potential is the bugs are worked out and it gets cleaned up.

Re: Team Fortress 2 Map Cycle
I have added cp_grand_canyon_b5 to the server and the member's download section. It is in the maplist, but will only be considered for the mapcycle if it excels during map testing.
I figure I'll seed the server tonight, then change it over at some point. So, download and install it early if you're interested.

Re: Team Fortress 2 Map Cycle
After a few very good games on it, grand canyon has been added to the rotation. Let me know if you guys experience any bugs with it.

Re: Team Fortress 2 Map Cycle
BTW: I've added maps into the adminmaps config. So, admins can change the map to one of the custom maps that's not in the rotation.

Re: Team Fortress 2 Map Cycle
I've done some house-cleaning and removed ctf-well, lazytown, floodzone, warpath, and avantiville. With some updates, these maps might be worthwhile, but as they stand now: they are not TG material.
I'm still debating stronghold, so if you have a comment on that map: post away in the forums.
