Of course I'm in. 10et is perfect, but I'd be willing to adjust to allow more/new players to join us.

Re: Event #2 - Class Cup 1 - FiA TC-65
Great race guys! Outstanding performance from RocketPunch. This guy has uncanny grip in all corners... he's just keeping his speed up more than anybody else. Squid, well done! Kept within range of Rocket. Not easy. Great comeback after last week's spins and flips. Turbo, nice job closing in on the leaders after that early lap lawnmowing.
Looking forward to next week's Mustangs and having more drivers join us!
Thanks all!
I'll have video to post today, hopefully.
Results are posted here in the schedule/results thread.

That was a ton of fun. I kind of forgot to downshift and hit the brakes because I was driving with the rear view mirror, don't do that. I tried to run Squid down hoping he would make a mistake but he didn't then I ran out of gas 1/2 way through the last lap. I was lucky to finish 3rd.

Re: Event #2 - Class Cup 1 - FiA TC-65
That was a fun race. The start was critical as I know if I can come out ahead from the first corner, I might be able to put a small gap between me and the 2nd position driver. So I went all defensive and hug the inside tight for that first corner. Having that little gap took the pressure of having someone right on your tail off and I then can switch my on-board timer off and just told myself to concentrate on keeping the car on the track. I kept pushing at around the same pace for the first half of the race and I then get progressively easier on my braking after lap 10 to start slowing tire wear down.

Re: Event #2 - Class Cup 1 - FiA TC-65
Good strategy. It paid off.
Shows how important a good starting position is. Get caught up in traffic and you start concentrating on other cars more than your line (well, I do). That itself costs seconds behind the leader(s).

Yeah I only just caught this yesterday from Ty's post! I was wondering how to get some practice in before the race...
