Re: Donington Park National Practice Times?
Oh, I'm going as fast as I can. My whole point is to maintain my top speed. So I time the 4th-to-5th shift so it coincides and I don't have to lift to keep control, nor tempt an unbalance.
If you're running the 427 Cobra, you have a tiny advantage in torque-to-weight, but are nearly dead even on hp-to-weight. The extra 200lbs of that Cobra's bulk, however, probably help you stay on the pavement at the rise, where the GT is light enough to get more lift.

Re: Donington Park National Practice Times?
the GT 350 handles most of turns quite well, setup properly ofcourse. It doesn't do quick turns though and has quite a bit of weight. So the hardest for me are the coppice and mclean turns.

Real Life Donington Park National (hood view), pretty interesting seeing what the real track looks like. ![]()

Re: Donington Park National Practice Times?
Postponed due to 3 drivers dropping out unexpectedly. The whole schedule is shifted back a week. So you've got a shot again to get in on Donington!
