Sounds like a date. I'll be there a bit after 10 though.

Re: Open Track Thread
Yep, permanent server now.
Sadly, I'm not free to race tonight.
It's possible I could join Tues or Wed night, but I should definitely be on Thurs night. I usually idle on TS starting around 9ET.

Re: Open Track Thread
Since Turbo suggested doing a single make event, I'm leaving the selection up to him!
Let's go with default setups. They're a known constant so the field is level. No changes to setups at all. Period. Now, there's no way to police it, so TG honor is how we do it.
Now we need a track. Anybody?

Re: Open Track Thread
I don't mind one make or default setup, but a lot of the times the stock set up gearing is all wrong in a way that it will top out long before the end of a straight. Thats my only concern.
if we can at least match a certain car with a certain track, that should not be a problem.

Re: Open Track Thread
We can also agree to adjust the gearing up/down for the track if the match isn't quite right. A click in one direction or the other is minor. Just requires that everyone makes the same adjustment.

Re: Open Track Thread
Could one of us just load up a neutral setup for a track with the gears already setup? I just want to see how everyone does with the same setup once, just be interesting to try.

We can work out those details.
So... what car is it gonna be Turbo?

Re: Open Track Thread
Just pick one, a good balanced one.
How about the BMW? Quick but pretty smooth.

Re: Open Track Thread
You said BMW. I'm holding you to it.
You heard the man, people... we're driving Bimmers on Thurs night!
How about Nurburgring Sprint for the track? Fast with some challenging, tight turns, and not so long that we get too strung out from one another.
