Interim race events
With the sudden closure of Series 2 and GPCOS use in mind, I want to invite everyone to join up for some one-off race events. These are intended to keep and increase interest and momentum here while I'm getting up to speed with transitions to a new point/tracking/league system, and hopefully more permanent server support.
So... for the short term, please mark your calendar(s) with the following 1st event in the TGRL Invitational series.
Event #1 - Saturday November 4, 2006; Qualifying begins at 10pm ET (20 min session); Race follows immediately
Car(s): Single Make shootout: Lotus Elan 26R
Track: Hockenheim GP
Race Length: 20 laps
Time of Day (in game): 2pm Please note that I am in the process of drafting a more accurate class system for official season racing. This will throw out the current 3-class system in-game and will accurately follow current *real world* vintage racing classes. This will bring more cars into competitive performance range, as well as separating those with overwhelming dominance, or dramatically poor performance into more appropriate groupings.

Re: Interim race events
If there's a chance of having weeknight and/or Sunday night races as well (assuming there is enough interest), I'd certainly be up for those!

Re: Interim race events
Only the few who have most recently posted.
It's not a points race, so there's no money and no ladies.
But bragging rights aplenty!
