Fraps for me.. It's got good support and updates and does good vid and screengrabs in the formats that work. I've used it on F1 2010 too. You can film at half screen to save some space, but depends on your screen res..

I am quite happy with FRAPS, but I have not compared it to any other method. The record to camcorder method mentioned above is intriguing -- has anyone done this?

Playclaw as a serious contender to fraps
I have been trying out playclaw recently and I think its a serious contender to fraps
Equal to fraps in these ways
Both recorders cost about the same
Both recorders allow the feature to record all game sounds, including your own voice. This makes producing talking teamwork videos really easy.
Superior to fraps in these ways
You can set the compression level of the footage
You can set the number of cores working on recording
You have more onscreen monitoring eg CPU useage and GPU useage
Inferior to fraps in these ways
I have used fraps for years and it is supported very well with numerous updates per year according to what games are coming out. This makes fraps a reliable choice.
