    Premiere cs4 question

    Premiere Pro is driving me crazy.

    I have a large project due very soon, and I have a mix of avchd and mpg2.

    all the video plays ok, but there is no audio from any clip.

    I have let PP conform the audio several times, but the waveform in the timeline shows blank anyway.

    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    the audio is part of the video file, and everything just worked on my new video editing computer. I dunno what the problem is on my laptop.

    I have one week to edit basically a feature film, produce a DVD with chapters, menu, credits, extras, and alt./deleted scenes, then mass produce it. YAY!
