export in premiere
OK, I have some university work that i want to upload onto youtube, however these pieces of work are only 3 mins each yet when I export them they are well over 500mb. My question is what would be the best way to export them to get a small video size but still retaining as much of the quality as possible.
And i do have Adobe encoder if there is an option through that.
Thank guys

Re: export in premiere
export to codec h.264 if you can out of premiere, its same quality with much less file size
youtube needs 1270 * 640 for the widescreen
I have sony vegas 6 (an older version now) the export to h.264 doesnt work well at all
so I export to wmv and then convert to h.264 codec in mp4 file with media coder (free)
http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/
these are the settings i use, these are basically the default settings, you can up the bitrate from 3000 to 5000
