Wegame punkbusted

I recently installed wegame to try and record some PR game play. I find myself being kicked from the server. I didn't capture a screenie of the punkbuster message, but I found a thread on wegame about it. The movie that is linked in that thread is the same thing happening to me.

Does anyone currently use wegame on BFx servers?

yes happened to me in pr
the latest version of the wegame client (Version: WeGame Public Beta 1.1.5) gets kicked from PR by punkbuster
it is however fine with 2142

I suggest wait till the new version of the wegame client then try again

I have been getting the "corrupted file" based message when running Wegame and FRAPS. The only solution I have found is to disable both to play which obviously defeats the purpose.
MY PB is always up to date since I update manually. No idea on a long term fix right now. Does not happen on other games just BFx (POE2).

or frapps if you have it or know were to get it?

I have notified Wegame about this. They are talking with evenbalance about correcting the problem.

I have the full version of FRAPS too... I was just hoping to try out and use wegame also. I'll also look into xfire.

Just recently (maybe two months now, probably less) PB for CoD4 has started kicking me for FRAPs running.

This is totally retarded since I have been using FRAPs for years.

Do you have the latest (2.9.8)?

According to evenbalance, older versions of FRAPS had a vulnerability that allowed certain hacks to hide themselves and appear to be a part of FRAPS. The makers of FRAPS closed that vulnerability in 2.9.8. Evenbalance then added any older version of FRAPS to the non-approved list.

I don't play CoD4, but I did experience the kicks in BF2 and 2142 until I shut FRAPS off or installed the latest. Ever since installing 2.9.8, I haven't had any PB kicks.
