Tactical Gamer Logo
I've done some previous TG logos but they all sucked so I wanted one that would actually look decent at the beginning of TG videos.

Feel free to use it if you'd like. It's in 720p you just have to find a way to download it.
All done in Sony Vegas except for the sparks which I created in After Effects then just chroma'd out in Vegas.

Re: Tactical Gamer Logo
Very cool! I do like this better than the others.
Anyway to put the words on the same line and add the dog tags like our logo?

Re: Tactical Gamer Logo
You might check this out. If you've got the skill i'm sure it could be modified to fit what we're looking for

like I said though, nothing other than the sparks were created in After Effects so there's no AE file, it's all sony vegas

Re: Tactical Gamer Logo
I don't really know how posting the Vegas file will help if you don't have all the media files that I used. It will just show a bunch of blank boxes where the media was, but maybe I'm missing something so here it is.
http://www.filedropper.com/tglogo1
Here's what it looks like with all files in place.

Here's the RC1. I'll try making a version with text all in one line etc and I'll post it when I'm done.
http://www.filefront.com/14202671/HQ_Logo_RC1_run2.wmv
This is about as high quality as I can export it. 15 MBps CBR, 720p, Audio at 440kbps, 96khz, 24bit. I think it may be the highest settings I've ever exported with
Edit:
Here's what I've got for RC2.

Re: Tactical Gamer Logo
heres my first attempt at swinging dog tags from a fixed chain, this is a very quick attempt and i havnt "jazzed" it up in anyway, except for the impact sound(which seems to not be working in this export)
also i hope you dont mind me taking of the silver chain and replacing it with the black one, i can re-make it with a silver chain if its a major issue tho

Re: Tactical Gamer Logo
upload all the different versions when done, as this then gives people choice
I would say to add 0.5 to 1 secs at the end of fade to black from the static (and fade to silent) so that movie makers can dovetail it into their movies without a jump from the static
concept is there, a little bit of work needed
once its done then it will be good and add another variation on the opening credits

Re: Tactical Gamer Logo
Ok, this is what I've got with Browna's chain. The chain clip needs some more frames within it though.
I've now added fades at the end of the clips as well.
So this is what I've got so far
Version 1 Final

Re: Tactical Gamer Logo
These rock!
Right now I'm liking version 2 a bit more. When the dog tags hit they have a bit more power to them. I like the concept of the swinging tags, but after the thumping of the name, the swinging doesn't finish off with the same intensity.
