Editing an .m4v file and making it smaller

Hey guys! I'm a not a big video producer, but recently I have a recording as an .m4v, and I'm looking for a program (preferably free) that I can use to chop it down a bit. Any suggestions?

Any Video Converter? I think there is a free one. Not sure. I haven't use it in a while. Finally got CS5.5 at my work. Adobe Media Encoder is good but Rhozet Carbon Coder is amazing. I miss using it at my brothers studio.

I pretty much use SUPER for everything video encoding/re-encoding related. It's a frontend (GUI) for FFMPEG (includes ffmepg in the installer and installs it).
