Static problems with fraps - Page 2

Dirtboy, I share this problem. I'm going to check the FRAPS website to see if they have any suggestions.

Onboard mic means what?
Is this mic plugged into pink connection on motherboard or soundcard
or is it a USB mic

I helped Rock with fraps and sounds and spent several hrs, we just could not get a USB mic to record ok in fraps.
