Creating a wiki for tutorials

Anyone have time and interested in capturing some of the links, tutorials, and how-to's from this forum and creating a library in the wiki?

Re: Creating a wiki for tutorials

I can help out as well...I am not a vid expert but I am pretty good around with mediawiki.

EDIT:

I would recommend organizing the tutorials something like this:

New Category called "Video Production Tutorials"
Then a new article for each of the following topics:

Video Production Overview
Battle Recorder
Battle Director
Fraps
Windows Movie Maker

That should get us started I think...

Good thing about the wiki is that anyone can update it, so we can have a team effort of keeping a library.

Okay, I've started off with a skeleton page:

Re: Creating a wiki for tutorials

Okay, I have fleshed the wiki out. Overview page is complete as well as tutorials for Battlerecorder, BattleDirector, Fraps, and WMM (Although for the last three the tutorials are mostly links to their respective user's guides since they are fairly complete). There is a section for "Tips & Tricks" in each tutorial so be sure to share your favs.

There is still a lot than can be added. StickyJeans put in a link to Vegas (which I haven't used yet) so that is the next area to concentrate on (and then maybe Adobe Premier). Have at it all!
