With the basic account a player can be playing up to four games at a time. With a pro account you can have up to ten.

I know I whipped up on a few of you for your first game. Hopefully not too fast that you don't get an idea of how things work. As players start posting their IDs in the sticky above, you all should start games against each other. I'd suggest starting with a smaller two player map. Then add someone's username to the invite.
