Re: Wii - first impressions?
So my wife and I just got a Wii over the weekend. We just have the pack-in Wii Sports right now and it's pretty fun. The motion sensing seems a bit random though, especially with boxing. For some reason, I can never get my toon to do what I want, and my wife beats me to a pulp because of it. I haven't won a game against her yet!
I'm looking forward to the holiday season when their big name titles drop. In the meantime, I'm thinking of picking up Zelda, RE4 (didn't play the original) and even Prince of Persia Rival Swords (didn't play the original). |

Re: Wii - first impressions?
Zelda is a really long game so if you're into the series or that type of game, it's well worth the money.
The trick with boxing is you can't throw another punch until the first punch completes. So you get all confused while the other person (probably) punches continuously. You get pummeled while the other person looks like a maniac. |

Re: Wii - first impressions?
I finally picked up a Wii on Saturday. Picked up Zelda while I was out too, can't wait to start playing. Didn't want to start because I would probably never go to bed and I had to work today.
I need to pickup a Lan connector somewhere because I dont have WIFI. I am really looking foward to Super Mario Galaxy, can't wait for that one.

Re: Wii - first impressions?
I picked up a wii relatively early (Jan 1)It's pretty cool so far some games either you like or you dont but when metroid prime 3 and mario galaxy comes out is when i think the wii will shine as for now wii sports and zelda are the most fun games. i also cruise the internet on my wii and play old school games like excitebike, super mario bros, and mario 64
