Re: Wii Friend Codes

After my nephew sent us 20 Mii's 3-4 times each (all in one day), I started to question my desire to have other people set up as "friends".

I'd start questioning your choice in "Friends".

I'll get my code up next time I fire up the console (probably)

Re: Wii Friend Codes

What does this allow you to do?

I'd post mine, but I'm afraid that my son would be like Icky's nephew to you guys...

Re: Wii Friend Codes

Assuming you have internet connectivity configured, it lets you exchange Mii's and send "email" messages. Your Mii's which are set to mingle will show up in the Mii parade on other people's systems, and they can choose to add them to their Mii collection from their. Mii's can also be sent directly to someone's system, which is where things can get annoying.

I'm assuming that some games will take advantage of this connectivity as well, but I don't know of any that do right now.

The only game I know of that supports internet play is Elebits.

Re: Wii Friend Codes

Elebits only supports sending custom-made maps to each other. The first games to feature online play will be Battalion Wars II and Mario Strikers.

Re: Wii Friend Codes

BTW, turn on your travel settings and set some of your Mii's to mingle so that they show up in my Mii parade. You will likely see quite a few from me.

er... one important thing:
Don't send me anything non-kid-friendly or I'll have to yank you from my friends list.
