- "I respect the 1st. Anyone playing and training with them is going to get a hell of a lot more out of PR...I used to think the 1st was crazy with the tactics and everything on POE. But I can see how that would work very nicely with PR." Hambergler.
- "Teamwork where everyone contributes toward a common goal with no consideration given toward individual performance above that of the group. Even the most skilled player will never achieve his highest potential if the team he plays with/for will not support him to those heights. The man with the most touchdowns won't hold the records he does if his blockers aren't doing their jobs. Teams like the 1st MIP have been a real treat to play with as they appear to have this level of teamplay worked out down to a science." Braidedheadman
- "For me, it's all about the teamwork. Especially very, very high levels of teamwork. Like the teamwork the 1stMIP uses. That gets my adrenaline pumping, and makes me more aware to my surroundings." EBODude
- "The way you guys move is second to none, no question... It's always nice to know that when you are in Alpha, not only are you likely to have Bravo covering your advance, but the guy in front of you will automatically turn round once he reaches cover and watch your six aswell while you advance. I have yet to experience the level of positional play with anyone else, weather mobile or static, like I do when I'm running with the MIP." Finestyle

- "I would like to extend a huge thank you to the 1st MIP for allowing me to tag along for a couple of games. Your professionalism is immediately apparent. I learned a lot in just the time I played." Fallosophy
- "Greetings to the 1st MIP :D Just wanted to say that it's been a lot of fun on the battlefield. If I had been a supporting member trust me I would've applied to the 1st. Absolutely amazing job you guys do for the rest of the community, it's always been amusing and intense everytime I've been in an 1st MIP squad. Even though you've all made it over to the 'real world', keep up the good work, yeah? Much respect for the inspiration as well. See you all around." Thundeer
- " ... It was pretty impressive being on the other side of your attacks though. Your squad does a fantastic job flanking and leapfrogging." Boudreux
- "...I will agree with you that any of the 1stMIP is a pleasure to squad up with. They are a group of guys that you can join thier squad; not even say a word JUST keep your ears open and you will learn an unbelievable amount just within 1 round. I am very quiet when I play and don't talk an awful lot mostly in part of trying to concentrate and also to be a sponge and soak up all the knowledge I can and 1stMIP makes that very easy bc they are very verbal to where all you must do is listen and follow orders and you will be successful. THanks for a great learning atmosphere guys!" Rookie420
- "I must admit I really enjoy playing along side yourself and the 1stMIP, I find your fire teams, flanking and leapfrogging tactics to be some of the best around and always have a great time when I get the opportunity to be a part of it." Finestyle
- "Take note gentlemen. The 1st mean business every time they team up. No other squad consistently gives me as much grief when I'm on assault than these guys. I always know the 7th is in for the long haul when we're attacking one of their CPs. Props to all of you for providing TG with their most solid unit." Bommando

- "I have always been of the opinion that the 1st are the best drilled squad TG has to offer. It's like a burglar who sees one house with dogs in the backyard and another without. If you see big scary dogs at the CP you are about to attack, best to go next door where the pickings are easier. That's usually how I feel about a CP defended by the 1st." Bommando
- "I'll be sure to come along to more of your practices and I don't mind not participating as long as I can just watch and listen; its very informative not to mention neat to see how methodical and precise you guys are in your movement and execution. I can only hope to become that good." ChickenLegz
- "Fire teams can be pretty straight forward and easy to execute. MIP is a lot more than that. The difference between fire teams and MIP's use of fire teams is that MIP's soldiers ALWAYS know what they're supposed to do based on their current kit. If I'm playing support on Bravo team, it's clear to me I have no business getting into the open tank at our flag. This makes for much more coordinated efforts, as there is little confusion about who does what." Shafik
- "1st MIP are crazily coordinated...There is always a line to draw between what can be done effectively within the realms of BF2 and the simulation-type role playing which this level of detail brings to mind. They do however kick bottom in game and im sure they enjoy their practice time honing more real world stuff." JimmyTwoHand
- "Yeah, the MIP is insane. They are very well coordinated. I had the pleasure of being in a squad with a few of them once. They are very methodical and organized. Its definitely a treat to get to work beside those guys." ChickenLegz
- "Hmm... Joining a TG server for the first time and ending up in the most organized and advanced squad here.. There could be worse ways to start your play!" Tempus (TG BF2 Game Officer)
- "One of the first squads to be set up on TG they excel in co-ordination and communications. Utilising fire teams to suck you in and then hit you where it hurts they are a formidable force. With some of the best SL's that TG can produce these guys take discipline, and victory to a new level" Wulfyn

- "...Fortunately, I was able to switch teams after reconnecting and a spot opened in the 1stmip, which as always provided a highly enjoyable level of discipline. It is just soo much fun when the other fireteam is attacked and you get the order to shoot them in the back!" BigGaayAl.
- "That was my first run through a game the way the MIP plays whether it be BF2 or ARMA. I'll have to admit that while it may slow down the pace alot, it puts a whole new level of immersion into the game and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Thanks." Shakeyjake
- "1stMIP is, by far, the best gaming experience I've had. And I think it's going to get better and better as we continue to develop the type of team that we have already started" Duke (Tactical Mod Developer)
- "Win or lose I enjoy playing with you guys. As you play with the same group more you inevitably learn their tendencies which strengthens squad cohesion. Everytime we play as a unit or even as a partial unit it's very rewarding to me-no matter what the score. Some of the best BF2 rounds ever have come since I've joined 1st MIP..." Grunt
- "Ever since I joined TG I have looked on with envy at the level of teamwork and coordination that you use on the battlefield and in the forums. I realize this is only a game, but you take it very seriously and that appeals to me. I think by approaching it the way you do you make the game more enjoyable for yourselves and all of TG." Loyalguard
- " Last night was the most fun I ever had playing BF2 and I'm looking forward to even better nights proudly wearing the 1st MIP tag, and more importantly, playing in accordance with the high standards and reputation that the tag represents." Loyalguard
- "Playing with the 1stMIP is a very different experience! They certainly take teamwork and tactics to a whole new level." MeanDrLily
- "Well what can I say. I've been in a few mip squads but tonight was my first real immersion in to there squad doctrines. Getting off to a rough start we settled into a back in forth over temple, losing and retaking multiply times. While we eventually lost the map we were able to finally take temple and make its stick...You guys really make it worth the effort to learn your squad doctrines." John Flenaly
- "Anyone else noticed that the mip protocols have been getting an unusal amount of positive attention on pr?" BigGaayAl
- "Played [in 1stMIP] yesterday. We had an awesome round on Mao Valley. Even if our team lost, our squad was really organized, with fire teams formed and people actually following orders. It was awesome =). Thanks MIP" KevlarBR
- "I've been invited to a 1stMIP squad on occassions. For the first couple of times it was confusing until I got the hang of it. I really like the structured approach as I know exactly what I'm supposed to do and where I'm supposed to go. I'll be happy to play with you guys again anytime." English Rebel

- "I very rarely get to play with the 1st, but when I do, it's always a joy. I get intimidated, since I am far too below their level to really contribute the way I should, but I still enjoy it." Tempus (TG BF2 Game Officer)
- "I have been in 1stMIP numerous times and have had nothing but a good time. They have their stuff together. I felt like Icky, lost at times due to how they have the squad set up. I wish good luck to all who have to face them in battle." Bubba
- "I know most do not like moving around on foot, etc, but I love those long trips, would love to see more maps designed for visually and (auditorially) rich terrain. BF2 has far more going for it then just frag-fests. Getting 'there' is half the fun in BF2" E-Male
- "I want to have fun, and be part of a successful team. I think success comes with discipline, which isn't necessarily all business and holding a stiff upper lip. Discipline means knowing a role and fulfilling the obligations of that role. There are several squads that specialize in assault, sniping, spec ops, recon, etc., but 1stMIP is able to perform ANY task assigned. We train on using all kits in cohesion and [should know] who goes where and gets what vehicle during offense/defense" Coridon
- "... that was some serious fun. Those rounds seemed to have many cool "movie" moments. I loved seeing the squads moving slowly down the street. Great fun!" Wimpinator
- "Yesterday I got to run a couple of rounds in the Demo with 1stMIP. SL divided everyone up into fire teams and we swept the city. I made it through one round without dying at all. That is the only round I have ever run through the demo where I didn't have to claim an AI soldier. The work the 1st MIP started in BF2 really pays off in Arma. Thanks guys!" Wimpinator
- "I can't tell you how much I enjoyed playing together last night. It convinced me that THIS is the squad I want to be a part of. Anything I can do to help or make it better, just ask." Ransack

- "What makes me mad is when i have a squad going up against a full 1st mip squad, and someone says in a depressed tone, "Its the 1st mip." What the hell guys, yall are already giving up!? Just ignore the tag, and maybe youll get a few kills on em before being completely massacred and wiped off a flag." Santa
- "1) Maturity and teamwork, which is what I get from 1st MIP 2) A higher level of organization and professionalism is what sets us apart 3) We clearly have a common philosophy when it comes to gaming and playing as a team greatly improves everyone's enjoyment, and TG is a good home for 1st MIP." Mannerism
- "I've been lurking on the forums for a while, and I've been greatly impressed with the quality of ideas and teamwork that I've seen expressed in the [1stMIP] threads" Munchkin
- "Hey guys. I had the great pleasure of playing with some of you on the Sharqui Peninsula map the other night and it was some of the best fun I've had playing BF2." Hephador
