[edit] MISSION / ABOUT US
The 6th Devil's Brigade is about having a lot of fun while doing everything we can to help our team win! The squad will strive to exemplify the "TG Way" and looks to increase the enjoyment of the game, not just for it's members, but for other players on TG servers by demonstrating maturity, good gamesmanship, and leadership. The squad will consistently operate with a "team first, individual second" mentality, but will also look to leverage the talents and creativity of each member.
The 6th Devil's Brigade will function as a competent ground based unit, but the squad will also routinely look to complete missions and fill roles that have a high-value to the team, working to be a force multiplier. If the 6th is said to have an operational focus, then that focus is doing the "other things" in game that go overlooked.
Our playground is primarily the BFx series and mods.
The 6th Devil's Brigade officially went operational on 29-Apr-2007.

We are currently evaluating recruits. For questions please PM Dick Blonov, Wimpinator, or eGoatBoy.
Our policy is to recruit selectively, and candidates are evaluated based upon their fit into the team. Some elements to consider include:
- maturity
- willing to participate regularly
- good humoured
- team oriented (communicative, "us first, me second", doing your part)
- creative
- disciplined
- comfortable and proficient as a Squad Leader
- all members must be willing to fill ANY role including CO & SL
- likes winning through guile more than by force, but not shy about being aggressive when required
- twitch appreciated, but not required
- can keep a secret
[edit] COAT OF ARMS
Currently, the coat of arms for The 6th Devil's Brigade is simply defined by a heraldic shield, with the field divided party per cross. The upper left and lower right quadrants of the field are emblazoned black, with the remaining quadrants emblazoned red. There are 4 charges in field; centered and overlapping in the field are two crossed arrows in deference to the United States Army branch insignia for Special Forces, and a V-42 combat knife that references the historical Devil's Brigade of WWII. The remaining charges, centered in their respective quadrants and emblazoned brilliant red are the community affiliation, "TG" (upper left), and the numeric squad designator "6" (lower right).
