[edit] 88th Infantry Division
[edit] Background
The Tactical Gamer 88th Infantry Division was formed in July of 2009. The 88th's primary goal is to develop and implement advanced small squad tactics and squad leader techniques within the framework of the Call of Duty series of games. TG currently supports CoD:2, CoD:4, CoD:WaW and will be adding CoD:MW2 when it is released in the fall of 2009.
One of our secondary missions is to take the tactics, techniques and knowledge we develop and share them with the community. Members will assist in the development of Tactical Gamer University courses, focused on the CoD titles, that teach advanced tactics and techniques.
Another of our secondary missions is to support the Call of Duty Mapping and Modding community at TG:CoD. Members of the squad are currently working on several projects, including 2 maps for CoD:WaW that, if all goes well, will be released to the community in August 2009. Krag is the developer of the SOGmod for CoD:WaW. Drona created the CoD:4 map Place_B, a TG exclusive that is currently being ported to CoD:WaW. The 88th also helps in maintaining and adding to the Call of Duty Series wiki section.
