[edit] 88th Combat Applications Group
[edit] Unit Background
The |TG-88th|, was formed in July of 2009. The 88th was originally created to field a squad for CoD:World at War and secondarily, CoD:Modern Warfare. In the spring of 2010, we added Bad Company 2 to our list of supported games. That was followed by Call of Duty:Black Ops in the fall of 2010. One or two of our guys are playing ArmA2 and a few of us play Dirt2 and 3 online together. Looking forward, the 88th plans on fielding soldiers in both Red Orchestra 2 and Battlefield 3. As of this posting, information regarding the status of dedicated servers for Modern Warfare 3 is still a bit thin. Once some questions have been cleared up by the developers, we'll have a better idea as to what our plans are for that title.
Nearly all of our members have been playing together at TG for at least 2 years or more. We look for players with communication and leadership skills, who are active on the forums. Our members are mainly located in the central and eastern US time zones but at least one is in California and another is in Australia. Birdie is in Texas, in case you didn't know.
[edit] Recruitment
The 88th has a few bunks open in the barracks at the moment.
[edit] Preferred qualifications
Recruits will have a firm knowledge and understanding of the Tactical Gamer Primer and TG SOPs. They must also maintain a Supporting Membership. The recruit should have an interest in both infantry only combat and combined arms operations. They will posses excellent communication and leadership skills.
If you are interested in applying or learning more, please contact P.Drona via private message.
