This section of the Training and Tactics Library contains overviews of the various infantry kits available in Battlefield 2.

• Anti-Tank - The anti-vehicle class which features wire-guided anti-armor rockets.
• Assault - A class designed for fighting the other team's infantry, the class features an assault rifle with attached grenade launcher.
• Engineer - Equipped with a shotgun, this class is usually best used when driving a vehicle.
• Medic - This class can heal and revive teammates, essential activities for maintaining an assault or a strong defense.
• Sniper - A long range scout with high powered rifle designed for engaging enemies at a distance.
• Spec-Ops - Designed for covert operations behind enemy lines, this class can plant explosives.
• Support - This class can rearm their teammates and features a rapid fire light machine gun.
