Installing Call of Duty Mod Tools

I assume that if you are at this stage then you have already downloaded the mod tools and any of the updates that they may have. The first thing that we will need is zip program I suggest Winrar

How to install the COD4 mod tools or COD waw mod tools

There are different was that you can go about installing the mod tools but I will walk you thru the way that I do it.

  1. I first start off by making a new folder on my desk top with the name and version of the tools.

  2. I then extract the contents of the mod tools zip file into the desk top fold that a made.

  3. Once the extraction is complete I open my I open up to the root folder of my COD game.
         yours may be different the root folder is where you installed your game.
             (Default is C:\Program Files\Activision\(Call of Duty Game))
  ( Call of Duty Game = Call of Duty - World at War or Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare )

  4. Now make sure you have both folders open the root folder and the desk top folder in windowed mode
     you will want to make sure that your desk top folder is the active folder and simple press 
     cntrl+a this should select everything in that folder.

  5. Once you have everything selected simply drag and drop it into the root folder of the game.

  6. You are basically done just find a nice storage spot for the folder you made on the desk top.

Updating the tools

To update your tools simple follow the same procedure from above.

Installing COD2 Mod Tools

The cod2 mod tools has its own installer. The only thing you do need to do is exact the assets from the main folder manually
