[edit] About Me

I go by the moniker Ferris Bueller, but I don't have many days off. My real name is Alex, I'm 26 years old and am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a RN. I work as a nurse in emergency care and trauma at my hospital, with rotations in several other departments. If the hospital is my home, TG is my second and vice versa. I have been a gamer for many many years and will continue to be for as long as my brain will allow me to.

[edit] Within TacticalGamer

I am one of the original members of the 6th Devil's Brigade and have been a resident gamer on TG servers for over 3 years. I am most active in the Project Reality community, however, I am also active and fully capable of mentoring people in Battlefield 2142, Point of Existence 2, Natural Selection and Team Fortress 2. I'm very active in the community (you can see my forum posts just about everywhere) and am more than willing to provide assistance anywhere it's needed.

[edit] Project Reality

Project Reality is my main focus. I play on almost a daily basis, usually for several hours. I am knowledgeable in all aspects of game play, but I typically specialize in the roles of Medic and Squad Leader. I am the coordinator for the password night video on a bi-weekly basis, and have organized both in-house and external scrimmage campaigns. I am the primary instructor for the Tactical Gamer University courses on Project Reality Medic and hope to expand that to include other kit classes.

[edit] Other Games

Although not as active as I am in Project Reality, I also play Battlefield 2142, Point of Existence 2, Natural Selection, Team Fortress 2, World In Conflict, EVE Online and several other minor titles. I am fully knowledgeable in all of these games as well and would be more than happy to provide people with any assistance they need in order to play the game the TG way.

[edit] What I Expect

I expect the same of my students that they would expect of me. I expect that if you're going to make an appointment, you make every effort to keep it. If you cant, don't just leave me hanging, let me know. I don't expect people to act like absolute professionals, this isn't a job. The main object is to have fun. If you'd like instruction in tactical play, I can make that happen just as easily as I can teach you about the TG way in a more goofy environment. The goal is to get you educated, get you active and make sure you have a good time while doing it.

[edit] Availability

I have a very unstable schedule (hospital work means "on call" a lot of the time), but I do my best to spend a lot of time on the forums, Teamspeak, and I'm always on Xfire. Your best bet is to contact me first and we can set up pre-arranged times or just set up a generalized agreement that you can hop in my squad when we're both in-game.
