[edit] Personal Life and Background
I live in West Texas, and at 17 years old, I am a junior in high school. My name is Zack Ellis. I play football for the school (Two selections for 2nd Team All State Offensive Guard, All West Texas Offensive Guard, 1st Team All District Offensive Guard and Middle Linebacker). We went 8-3. When it's not football season, I do powerlifting and run track also, and I'm constantly in the weight room or running sprints on the track. I'm a junior this year, so I only have one more year of high school ball before I go play for college.
I like to head out to the lake with my friends a lot too. My best friend has a lake housboat. We go out and do e and owns two jet ski's and a ski that a lot during the summer. We also own some land and run some cattle up about two and a half hours away. I drive up there and spend the weekend sometimes just to get away from things. I enjoy fishing, hunting, and camping every time I get a chance.
I have a Dodge Neon that was fitted for drag racing when I got it, so I take it out to the speedway and run the quarter mile about once a month.
I paintball (woodsball with '98 Custom). We have an amateur team and are starting to win paintball tournaments here and there. Our next step with it is to get a local sponsor.
[edit] Gaming...Inside and Out
As for gaming outside of PR, I own the Warhammer 40k series and play them nearly as avidly as I do PR. I play as the Space Marines for their adaptability to any situation ingame. I also own the Rome Total War series and play it occasionally, but not on mulitplayer as I don't have all the patches installed. As an owner of BF1942, BFV, and BF2... I used to be leader for the Battlefield Vietnam clan, Iron Tigers Brigade |ITB|...but when BF2 came out we fell apart for some reason unknown to me. I played vanilla BF2 for about a year and then put it down. It got old. In summer of '07...around June or so...I saw something about Project Reality. I downloaded it and loved it. I would join random servers and play, I had no favorites then. Within a week of playing I stumbled upon TG's server. This is where I became addicted. The level of teamplay and the server's attitude toward things left me yearning for more. I signed up for the forums and became involved. I have participated in several External Scrimmages (commanding one) and one of the Internal Scrimmages (also commanding this one).
[edit] PR Roles
I used to command alot. But now I lean more towards squad leading and a little bit of being part of specialty squads. I enjoy running infantry squads. Regular infantry, HAT squads, ambusher squads, etc. If you are in my squad, I usually have a certian kit layout I want. Never snipers or marksman except on one or two maps, usually either H-AT or L-AT, a medic, ammo man, either grenadier or support gunner, and then basic kit of choice. I tend to do more defensive work, but I will take the intitiative and attack when needed. I normally name my squads "ANVIL". I can tank, and do occasionally. Flying transport choppers is also something I enjoy time to time.
