Adding your SteamID to your forum profile allows you to access your Supporting Member benefits in HL based games.

Join a HL/2 game or mod server, bring down the in-game console (usually the ` or ~ key left of the "1"), and issue the "status" command. Your in-game console can be activated through the advanced options menu for your controls.

This will list all players on the server, including yourself, along with their SteamID. Your SteamID will look something like "STEAM_0:1:193284" - but with different numerics.

This entire string, including the "STEAM_", is your SteamID. After obtaining your ID, go to your forum profile options and add the ID. Click update and you are finished!
