  • The yellow represents cavalry.
  • The black traditionally represents iron and the transition to mechanized armor.
  • The black dagger facing down represents the squad's Airborne purpose.
  • Two curved stripes crossing at center representing the squad's use of airborne infantry and airborne armor.
  • Four stars representing the four pillars of the squad's focus : Gunships, Transports, Delivery Pods, and Free-form Airdrops.
  • A yellow "11" in the center of the shield representing the squad's numerical designation.
