Dedicated Server Package--Comming Soon

Dedicated server package to be released sometime soon (I hope sometime next week). Massgate had an interview with one of the operation managers. The standalone server will not be ranked, but it could be useful for practices and such if we end up somehow needing them.

If that happens then you can add another player to the game roster.

How is this ded server package working for you guys?
I will be picking up the game in a couple of days.

Its terrible. I can't even figure out how to set it up (and yes I did read the interview and comments on how to set it up but it still doesn't work).

hmm interesting..
I downloaded it and after about 1 minute the server auto closed.
Perhaps a actual retial game has to be online with the ded server... which makes no sense.

Also, like the comment that linked to this thread...even though you did not do it.

One of the comments said to edit the file wic_ds.ini. You need to change the name of the server before it will show up online, but mine wont show up. Its in the X:\Program Files\Sierra Entertainment\World in Conflict Server directory.
