    WiC add-on coming?

    Just me speculating... can't find any verification yet... but over at my favorite desktop wallpaper collection web site is two new wallpapers titled "World in Conflict: Soviet Assault", if this is the case then I will be re-installing WiC big time.

    I would love another SP campaign to roll through. New units, TA, balance changes, etc that an expansion would bring would be great for MP.

    When Sierra announced that it was bringing World in Conflict to consoles it revealed there would be extra content included, which then would eventually be brought to the PC as an expansion pack. According to Czech edition of OXM (thanks Jan) World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is the official name of the console edition and PC expansion pack, and add a brand new campaign (including playable Russian side), EndWar-like voice commands, new multiplayer maps (10 players only instead of original 16), and new units (chronoplane, boats). According to online retailer PLAY, WiC: Soviet Assault is scheduled for Oct. 2008.

    10 players only sounds like a great idea, sometimes 16 just turns into chaos.

    10 players are for console MP. Up to 16 on PC.

    It is a Great Game.. But Soviet Assault..?? Didn't they start the shizzle in the first one anyways?? How about "Wrath of the US". "The Eagle Strikes back".. (heh) Where the US gets to take out some foreign landmarks!
    Or "Chinese Takeout!" and assault the Great wall..etc..
